Turned on a lath of salvaged and urban felled trees by Vernon Leibrant of Whatcom County, WA. Each piece is engraved with the artist's and wood specie's name.
This piece comes from the tree of heaven, or ailanthus, a native to northeast and central China, but invasive in the Americas. The blonde wood is light and and has a lovely grain.
